On April 10th, we went to Kaikoen Park to see the last bits of the cherry blossoms for this year. Since the cherry blossoms bloomed early this year, we could not get the full experience. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful time, with wonderful weather and people!
First, most of our students walked from school to the train station. Then, we rode the train to the park, where we walked even more! There was a lot of walking today. While we were at the park, not only did we see varieties of cherry blossoms, but we also got to see animals at the zoo and ride amusement park rides. A lot of us separated and enjoyed the free space to play around, talk, and sit enjoying the scenery.
We were extremely lucky to be able to spend the day in perfect weather! The temperature was not too cold, yet not too hot. We got to enjoy delicious food and snacks as well! We spread out the picnic sheets and sat down below the pretty cherry blossom trees. Having a picnic all together was such a great feeling!
This weather was perfect for a picnic and beautiful pictures (which we got to do!) Despite the long hours in the park, many students were energized and excited until the end.
